The Africa Food Show Hosted Buyer Programme selects pre-qualified decision makers to attend Africa Food Show based on their interest in sourcing the best of vetted suppliers from around the world across the food & beverage value chain, as well as be inspired by on-trend content and industry networking.

Join us to meet over 300 top-tier food and beverage suppliers from over 30 countries and regions through networking sessions and pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings and on-request site visits. We have designed Africa Food Show’s Hosted Buyer Programme to assist you in the serious business of sourcing key products to ensure your shelves remain full and you achieve the best margins while ensuring food security in your region.

If you are responsible for purchasing food and beverage products or services, you may be eligible. We consider your decision-making authority, budget, and how well your needs match our exhibitors.

We assess applicants based on the following criteria:

  1. Decision making authority: You are a senior professional with decision-making authority in your business.
  2. Track record of sourcing through importing: You have a dedicated budget to source new products through importation.
  3. Availability to travel to South Africa:
  • Must be available to travel to Cape Town between 10 – 13 June 2025.
  • Ready and willing to engage in pre-scheduled meetings during the exhibition.

Hosted Buyer Programme Process

  • Buyers can apply for the programme through an online form, which will be reviewed by the Hosted Buyer team and accepted or rejected based on a set of criteria including decision-making authority, budget and relevance to the exhibitors participating in Africa Food Show 2025.
  • Successful buyers will be required to register and agree to terms of the Hosted Buyer Programme.
